Mr. Kenny is the firm's Managing Attorney. He is a 1972 graduate, summa cum laude, from the College of the Holy Cross and obtained his law degree, with honors, from the University of Connecticut in 1975. Mr. Kenny is board certified as a civil trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. He is an active member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. He is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association Medical Malpractice Committee. He lectures frequently on trial practice and serves as a private mediator for civil disputes. Attorney Kenny is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Connecticut and Massachusetts, and the First and Second U.S. Court of Appeals. |

Mr. Usseglio graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 1983 and from Albany Law School of Union University in 1986. Attorney Usseglio is a retired U.S. Navy Captain, a former navy judge advocate, and has served as an instructor at both the Naval Justice School and the Defense Institute for International Legal Studies. Attorney Usseglio’s area of practice includes product liability defense and construction law. Attorney Usseglio is admitted to practice in the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts and Maine, as well as the U. S. District Courts for the Districts of Connecticut and Massachusetts. He is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute. |

Mr. O’Keefe is a founding principal of Kenny, O’Keefe & Usseglio, P.C. Mr. O’Keefe is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross (B.A. Economics, 1989) and the Western New England School of Law (J.D., 1992). He is admitted to practice in the state courts of Connecticut and Massachusetts as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and District of Massachusetts. Mr. O’Keefe focuses his practice on personal injury and wrongful death cases with a particular emphasis on vehicular tort, nursing home abuse, medical negligence, inadequate security and sexual abuse cases. He is a proud member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and serves on its Board of Governors. He has served on the CTLA Legislative Committee, the CTLA Strategic Planning Committee and the CTLA Public Relations Committee. Mr. O’Keefe is also a member of the American Association for Justice and is a member of the AAJ Nursing Home Litigation Group, the AAJ Inadequate Security Litigation Group and the AAJ Child Sex Abuse Litigation Group. Mr. O’Keefe is board certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Additionally, Mr. O’Keefe is the member of the Academy of Trial Advocacy. Mr. O’Keefe was selected by his peers as a Super Lawyer in the area of Personal Injury: Plaintiffs for the 2009 Connecticut Super Lawyers, as published in Connecticut Magazine’s Super Lawyers Section. |

Attorney Clark graduated from the College of Holy Cross in 1987 and from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1990. Ms. Clark is an experienced appellate practice lawyer and handles the bulk of our firm's appellate work. Attorney Clark has successfully argued numerous cases before the Connecticut Supreme and Appellate Courts, as well as matters before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She is admitted to practice in the state courts of Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, the federal district courts for the State of Connecticut and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the First and Second Circuits. Ms. Clark is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association's Appellate Advocacy Committee. She is also a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyer's Association and the Vice Chair for the CTLA's Women's Caucus. |

O'Keefe graduated from Boston College in 1997 and from Suffolk
University Law School in 2002. Prior to joining Kenny, O'Keefe & Usseglio,
P.C., Attorney O'Keefe interned for the Honorable Alfred
Covello at the United States District Court in Hartford,
Connecticut. Mr. O'Keefe is an active member of the Hartford
County Bar Association and serves as the President-Elect
of the Hartford County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.
He is a member of the bars of Massachusetts and Connecticut. |
